Leave

Rules of leave acquisition :

Each month of complete presence opens a right to 2.08 days of leave per month.
For one year of presence, 25 days of leave (12*2.08). For the 3 years of presence, this leads to a total of 75 days of leave.

For the first year, the counter starts from the 1st month of your contract and ends on May 31st of the year N or N+1 depending on the position of the month of hiring.

Example 1: Contract from February 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020: 4 months* 2.08 = 8.32 CP (in progress) at the end of May 2020. These “in progress CP” will become acquired CP on June 1st.
Example 2: Contract from October 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021: 8 months * 2.08 = 22.4 CP (in progress) at the end of May 2021. These “in progress CP” will become acquired CP on June 1st.

A new counter of “in progress CP” restarts on June 1st (year N).

Important:
You must take a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks of leave (CP) between May 1 and October 31 of each year.
The “acquired CP” indicated on your pay slip must be balanced at the end of MAY.

You may use “in progress CP” if it is available in the balance column of your pay slip.

To request an absence, you must use the absence request form for each leave taken (and per month maximum).

A regular reminder by email is made by the administrator. The doctoral student must make sure, by respecting the rules, to take all his leaves before the end of his contract.
To know the balance of leaves remaining to be taken, please refer to the last pay slip.

The 2.08 days of leave earned during the last month of the employment contract are compensated.

All leave must be taken in full. Any leave not taken will be lost.

Time off

Each month of complete presence opens a right of RTT. On average, 1.25 days per month, i.e. a total of 15 days per year (from January to December).

RTT days must be taken before the end of December otherwise they are lost.

Bridging days
